HAWK and VPRpedia
"[HAWK] is a guild of griefers, pirates, and trolls. They had a habit of inviting new players without disclosing the nature of the guild. They are mostly inactive." This is inaccurate. The new incarnation of HAWK is like all of my guilds an RP based guild. The surviving members of HAWK and any new members are strictly out for revenge on the coalition of guilds that waged war on the original incarnation of HAWK... (those guilds being PA, TGFT, ITAN and VPR). At any rate VPRpedia seems like its been a fairly accurate site in the past, just figured I'd put this out there for who evers in charge of it. |

VPR never declared war on HAWK. On April 22nd and May 3rd of 2009, ranking members of HAWK attacked Vipers without provocation. This resulted in HAWK becoming KOS, although we were cautious not to just blindly attack anyone with the tag because many low-level new players who didn't understand what the guild was about were being invited and joining. Shortly after that, members of HAWK began regularly disrupting the Nation War, which is probably why the guild was given a rather harsh description on the wiki. If "the new incarnation of HAWK" is a fundamentally different guild than the HAWK of a year ago, the description can definitely be modified. It's best if you just modify it yourself rather than post here for me to do it. Pirates usually keep the pirate sections up-to-date and that helps keep things more accurate and up-to-date than if I did it all myself. I do think HAWK should at least still be listed among the pirate guilds given its history and rather lengthy list of current enemies. |
