Ecka Estenk
Ecka attacked me without hail today and boomed me in a taur. I returned the favor, then we got into a little brawl in B8. He said i'm TGFT KoS. I offered a truce since we both boomed eachother without hail, he refused. I figured I should report this. |

In the future, it is best to pm an agressor and ask for explanation before returning the favor. If no explanation is given... use judgement. I'll get on IRC and see if I can sort things out. EDIT: He was leaving when I got on... all I gout out of him before he left was "heh , vendetta,,," We'll see how it turns out. |

Ecka is not the sort of player to attack without a reason. I expect you were not as innocent as you make yourself out to be. Also, TGFT does not lightly make people KOS. No TGFT is not known for doing that, I was surprised myself. For a while I thought the guild had a little bad-boy project going on for a bit. Wasn't too sure what was going on. Ecka and I got into a skirmish, I offered a truce which was refused. I don't fight non-consentually unless I'm attacked first. |

Before you start: Did you sit on the WH with Ecka hanging around 3k k out for a while? Ecka likes to see if he can hit you with jacks/flares from a very long range. Nothing evil in it and it keeps you on your toes. I suspect it is when he is extremely bored. Just dodge away and go "WTF?" on sector, he'll come chuckling along. :laugh: If you attack him, expect to slug it out but it should not affect your standing with him next time you meet. _________________ Azumi, pirating in Hello Kitty style since '07 |

Weird. I know Ecka has no hesitation about kicking my butt around when he's feeling friskey. Its not like him to just attack you for no reason. Hmm, given that it was past 1 am in Eckaland, and I had consumed a fair number of medicinal drams clarity may be a moot point. Firstly , I didn't know Kire was a viper recruit. Secondly I thought the first fight was consensual. I accept I might have hailed a roid or something equally nebulous. I came back to B8 and Kire shot me while I was just drifting, so I came back and took a few pot shots. I can't actually remember what I might have said. Since he is a viper recruit forget the KOS bit, not even TGFT takes any notice of what I say at that time of night. |

I figured it was a misunderstanding/fluke. It was late for me too, and I probably didn't handle it in the most mature way. Say we call a truce and put it behind us eh? or we could settle it in a good old fashioned duel for good times :) |

Ok Ok! Maybe I didn't have to demonstrate to Mr. Pink the folly of stopping to pm the pirate chasing him through 4 jumps after telling said pirate to 'bite me' last week. Maybe I didn't have to pick up Mr. Pink's cargo of Corvus Holo Disks. And maybe I didn't have finish his route and deliver them all the way to Sol II.
