Computer
My computer seems to be partially broken, in a GPU-related way. The most annoying part is that anything that results in the GPU getting warm crashes the computer, so I can't play VO. I will likely repair this when I get home (3 weeks).

Re: Computer
Roger. Thanks for checking in, Ish. I look forward to seeing you in-game once you get it repaired. Good luck with it.

Re: Computer
So I've got the GPU working again (it's amazing what you can do with a propane torch!), but VO segfaults on launch. I will attempt to investigate further - it may just need a reinstall.

Re: Computer
Wow. that's insane. First off, how the hell did you figure out that was the fix? And second of all... how does heating an overheated GPU with a blow torch fix the GPU?

pretty awesome though!

Re: Computer
The problem isn't that the GPU is overheating, though that may contribute to it. The problem is that due to mechanical and/or thermal stress, the BGA solder joints crack. Heat melts the solder, causing the broken joints to flow back together, hence the title of the video (BGA reflow).
