Ultimate/Planned SUPER Cap Ship Battle Extreme!!!!
Re posted from the VO Role Playing forums here: http://www.vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/7/14379 ------------------------------------------------------------ There will be an Ultimate Capital Ship Battle Saturday, July 22, 2006, at 7pm GMT. Use Daylight Saving Time (where applicable) to translate the time. General Rules: 1. All players should defend their own nation's capital ships. But, you are not required to do so. If you want to, you can help another nation. See teams below. 2. You should defend your ship and if necessary heal it on the journey. Watch out for pirates though. And remember the severe penalty for killing an admired player in nation space. 3. All players not in your nation team are KOS. 4. Any player attacking a cap ship OR its defenders before the battle will be KOS for all nations. And will be severely penalized. 5. NO WINGBUGGING (I'm not even sure if you can still do it though) 6. All weapons and ships may be used for the battle 7. No hailing or docking with any cap ship on it journey. Hailing will slow down the cap ship and docking with the cap ship while it’s moving might cause you to wingbug it and cause it or you to explode. Nation teams: 1. Each nation should elect/appoint a leader before the start of the battle. 2. The leader should make contact with the event coordinator before the start of the battle. 3. All players must register with leader before the start of the battle. 4. Prizes will only be awarded to those players that registered with their leader. 5. You should defend your ship and if necessary heal it on the journey to B8. Healing in B8 is OK too. We will be using 1 Heavy Assault Cruiser and 2 Trident class ships for each team. Please make sure you have channels 205, 11 and 100 active. Please use channel 205 for event chat and leave 100 for general chat. (Chanel 11 is nation only chat. You can may use that to communicate privately with your nation.) 18:30 GMT All cap ships will spawn at their ready positions: UIT -- Azek I-16, Serco -- Initros O-12 and Itani -- Edras H-15 19:00 GMT Cap ships will start moving toward Sedina B8. When the cap ships jump to the following locations the battle will start: UIT = Latos H-2, Serco = Ukari A-10 and Itani = Pelatus K-15 Please be sure you are all on time. With the changes we should be able to start the battle at 7:00 pm GMT. I would like to start as close to that time as possible. You should arrive at 6:30 pm GMT though. Remember you must register with your nation leader before the start of the battle. Only those players that register will be awarded Combat XP and money. Serco and UIT (especially Serco) make sure you have a leader in place by 6:45pm GMT. Hopefully at your Cap ship’s spawning position. Since the battle will start earlier I need you to organize quickly. I will disqualify any team that doesn’t have a leader by 7:00pm GMT. (I will be in game by 6:15pm GMT please contact me as soon as you pick someone.) I once again want to thank the developers and guides for their help. Without them we wouldn’t have a game at all and we would never be able to have events like this and others. NOTE: Combat XP will be given out only if a guide is online at the conclusion of the battle. Prize money will be given out if I have enough time to earn it. Prizes: 1. Monetary prizes will be awarded to all players who have registered with their nation leader in the following increments. The prize will be given to the nation leader. He/She will distribute the prize money. a. 1st place =100k b. 2nd place = 50k c. 3rd place = 25k **** I reserve the right not to have monetary prizes each week. It takes a lot of time to raise 3 million for prize money. I welcome any donations to the cause. **** 2. Prizes will NOT be awarded to any player who doesn’t register with their nation leader. 3. All players will receive combat XP. The exact amount will be determined soon. 4. You must read the rules before the battle. Remember the above times are estimates. We won't start the battle before 6:30pm GMT. But we might start earlier then the times listed above. As always your suggestions, comments and opinions are welcome.
