most of BLAK has left the game.
due to the complete lack of faith in the Devs do deal with social issues like what Arolte is presenting, BLAK has left the building. Holden has zapped all his chars, Shape, Borb, Yoda, tumble and I have cancelled our accounts. thanks for all the fish! |

Yeah it wasn't just BLAK either. ? has also left. The devs basically have to draw the line in the sand and decide what's acceptable. If Arolte's constant poking is acceptable then it's applicable anywhere. A few of us have considered trying to see how far you can go before getting banned but the depressing thing is that banning may just not happen. I'll be around, but I may not be a pirate. Not sure what I'll do seeing as most of my mates are leaving for better climates. Anyway, though I may not fight you guys again, I remember some damn fine times, thanks to you guys. |

Sometimes, time off is the best thing to do when frustrated about something. Its a shame so many people leave because of 1 person. There is a lot of negativity in the VO community the last couple of weeks, thats the impression I have. I'm gonna miss our VPR vs BLAK fights, and hope, maybe someday in the futere somewhere to catch you guys back on-line. Best of luck with whatever your doing. Take care. Re: most of BLAK has left the game.
There has been many good times playing the opposite sides of the board for all of us. I'd like to think you'll have a change of heart sometime. I've read Shape's post (but haven't finished reading the thread concerning this issue,) and thought it very funny that we fought Shape hard in the past, then fought along side Shape as The Magpie. I know he and I wasted UPN once in Bractus. Talk about irony. :) Anyway, the memories of what we've had as a community, role playing or whatever, will be cherished. Unfortunately, there has been an increase in the number of hostiles that we now face, due to more pirate guilds. So, we will be doing what we have been doing and attempting to stay the course. And will probably still be fighting pirates when or if you decide to return. There is nothing like the challenge of group fight against BLAK (or even The Corsairs.) Not that I'm asking for your service in the game, I just want you to know that your presence in the game as a guild will never be replaced regardless of who's doing the evil deeds. 1 or 2 grievers in the game should not cause this kind of revolt. And from a guild who takes grief causers very seriously, I think we'd be more likely to take action and try and stop it before just quitting. But the way RL goes, most of us are... errrm, older than the average gamer... and have too many responsibilities to be available often enough to combat all grief causers at the scene. Where as BLAK has a lot more active members, i don't see why you wouldn't be able to do the same thing. Especially since you've changed your goals from what it was in The Corsairs, it might just fit into your role playing. |

Alamar, what the hell did Arolte do that you run away like that? Honestly, I cannot understand your step. /maso |

our average age is in the high 20s. the problem isn't just his actions (try to stop a light valk set on harassing, but not fighting you), it's the complete lack of understanding from the devs and guides on the matter. actually, one guide got it. the rest think it's okay. it's just gameplay. well, if I park my Valk outside the docks in Itan and pop newbies, that's also gameplay. I wonder what it'll take to get banned in this game. |

That is sad to hear. VPR and BLAK always had fun together and I will really miss the main chars. In any case VPRs will keep doing what we are doing, firmly and steadfast in our belives. Good luck to all you BLAK who leave the game for now, maybe we meet again. Thanks for the fun times. ;) _________________ M. Duncan Lieutenant 10/13/13/11/9 |

I want you to know that I appreciate each of you and your efforts... there were truly some really great times out there... and each of you have helped me at one time or other. For that: "thanks"... I know this isn't about a single griefing player, but I really hope to see you ingame again at some point. MB and the others said it better than I could... but, for now... Seta *salutes* [edit]and I guess I'm the "old guy" that skews our numbers... _________________ Never run out of airspeed, altitude, and ideas at the same time... |

Well who da thunk it. I never really considered it likely that Vipers would outlast BLAK. Ahh well. Time to change for some, time for a break for others. We'll see what happens. Guys it's been great fighting with you all. I apologize if I ever got stroppy with any of you (particularly you Hoax). To quote tumble "First impressions are a bitch aren't they". Along the way I also found out that first impressions mean nothing in this game. Cya all in game. Martin (Peaceful trader or something) |

No worries Martin, I'm angry at my aim not you ;) Also I understand how people can get stroppy from time to time. Been pretty stroppy myself on occasion. Again, no worries. _________________ Signature 4: |

*adds his own glass* Thanks for some truly great battles... you were all worthy opponents. Your presence will be missed, and feel free to return after giving it some time. I for one have faith in the devs. _________________ May the breath of the Void shelter you in your travels... Phaserlight, [VPR] council 7/7/8/9/2 |
