Itani for Valk?
I am relatively new to the game, only license level 3 and 4, but have been reading up on the last 10+ years of forum posts. My question for those of us aspiring to join VPR is if Itani is the way to go now with the faction standing changes if only for access to the Valk? My main is UTI and with faction standing capped at 600 I'll never be able to get in a Prom or Valk. I know this topic has been discussed to death (Prom vs. Valk vs UTI) on the forums, but am curious on VPR's views since the faction standing changes? |

My personal view is that there's nothing quite like the IDF Valkyrie for running someone down and ruining their day. Unfortunately, even that is rarely enough to catch a pirate running away in a Greyhound. All nations have access to ships that can be effective for the sort of work we do, but I do think the Itani have the edge in that respect right now. |

If VPR is active we can always team up to take down a pirate - not unlike standard Eve strategy of an interceptor with neuts needing to live long enough for the cavalry to arrive. Is the guild active enough for this? I am new and love the game but seems it just needs a small growth spurt to make it really fun. |

Hello, Tominator. I agree with Ishathis. Regarding our activity, although we are not currently accepting applications, several of us still play regularly. We're always happy to team up with friendly players to fight against or work against pirates. I'm sure other players and guilds would also be happy to do the same if no Vipers are available. |

Members of other guilds are, indeed often willing to help. I had members of Itan, PA and TGFT show up last night to work together in suppressing pirate activity by VOID and FAMY in Odia. |
