noob care fund (NCF) suggestion
I'Ive noticed ,that nitcy having spotting me killing npc voy, didn't bother to pickup the cargoes and didn't bother either to secure the area till they timed out. Result was: crime was still paying event after a justified pwn. It came to my mind, that instead of leaving the npc's cargoes after the removal of the criminal, VPR officers could collect em sell them to make a fund to help noobs in vo victims of griefers and other ill intentions morons : ] I'm also informing you that BT is to be marked for deletion very soon. If you agree, I am ok to donate the money (more then half of it has an origin that can be discussed) to a VPR officer, to start that fund. Let me know if you agree to the proposition on this thread and we will arrange a meeting in game. Until this BT is removed from the game. Well, this is odd, because one of the recruits stole 6 of my 120 stol- found aaps (the heavies have been luvin all over Uncle lately). I probably shouldn't have forgiven the thief bein he isn't an official VPR yet. It just goes to show how biggoted VPR has become. Attacking innotent hard working individuals just tryin to make a livin and achieve a little bit more out of life than the cruel hand that fate dealt them. Thats all we really want. But the establishment has its favorites, and its sadistic military arm to enforce its will (VPR). We, however, will not be held down. We will rise above all adversity and take back that which should have been our birthright. Through blood, sweat and tears our triumph will be glorious! Though diverse, we are united in this cause. BT: As I said ingame, if it had been a player's cargo, I would have defended it with all the money I had. As it stands, it was NPC cargo, so I took the valuable (54 advanced rails), left the junk (i believe you told me it was about 6k worth lol), and informed the rest of VPR that the Adv Rails were available for requisition :D Retractile: I've said it before and I'll say it again. Any cargo dropped by a character on the VPR KOS list is fair game for me to take as "restitution" :) Those things being said, I would personally be all for a noob-care-fund, as both the rails and the aaps are sitting in whatever station was nearby at the time XD Then again, money is fairly easy to come by, and I've always had at LEAST 250k to spare for any newbie I run into, so an NCF my be redundant :P |

Vipers often confiscate pirated cargo and return/donate it to traders. This also includes cargo pirated from NPCs if it is convenient and possible. I don't see any need for a specific fund for this purpose. This is what we've always done and what we will continue to do. |

I chose to give you the benefit of the doubt and assumed your comment about peytros was referring to my duties as a VPR in killing the most active griefer in the game at the time, and made the natural connection, consider current affairs in VO, to peytros being paid to stop griefing. Clearly I was mistaken. My apologies. |

Meh. Claws are in Zumi. Out of the 70 or so words that I directed at Nitci, only 10 reference his/her activities with Peytros. I found it curious that he/she chose only to respond specifically to that portion of my comments. Clearly this displays that his/her relationship with Peytros has a high value for them- as was demonstrated by the teasing exchanged between them on 100. As to the the update on Petro's activities, if he's settling for 1 mil to be 'nice' then he is selling himself very, very short. In actuality, I expect he is bored of his piracy / griefing / whatever it is that he does, and wants to explore other aspects of the game, ie. the nationalism he was carrying on about last night. Which is fine. And that he's doing it as Peytros is fine. I would have suggested building an alt, but thats just me. Regardless, his activities are not of special interest to me, considering the entirety of my interactions with him consists of around 5 fights. 4 from before I took the month break from VO, and one a couple of nights ago. My interest lies in VPR and its membership on these forums. Honestly, I'm not trying to be an ass here. I would have been equally perplexed had Nitci responded with "The Purple Hippopotimus that rules the sky is coming for lunch next Thursday." _________________ Hoist the Jolly Roger Maties!
