Party!
On May 17th, my account will be a year old! I still feel so new. I can't believe it's been almost an entire year and at the same time it's hard to imagine that just a year ago I had never even heard of VO, nor did I know any of you who I now feel are like close friends to me. I applied to VPR on June 30th, was accepted as a recruit on July 21st (what took the Council so long!?), and became a full member on September 25th. It's been a good year. There have been a lot of changes in both the guild and the game in a year's time (and even in my callsign!). Through it all, I've killed a lot of rats, and I'm looking forward to this next year being even better and the rats being even deader. Maybe a year from now we'll be talking about how back in the day we had to kill the rats without our own cappies or home station! RL-wise, I'm feeling really good. I just got a great new job, I'm moving into a new apartment with my girlfriend this weekend, and I'm graduating next weekend. So when's the party!? |

(Uh... representing Council, I should probably remind you that certain decisions are not to be rushed in to... and being old, I should remind you that certain decisions just don't come quickly, anyway. I know this is way after the fact, but I wanted to say congratz and thanks Strat for being a great role model. You're one of the reasons I'm proud to be a Viper. |

Wow. Thank you, phaserlight. I could say the same thing about you! Maybe we can celebrate when my 2-year anniversary rolls around! I'm looking forward to getting back in-game. I've been away on vacation for almost a week now. I'll be back in a few days. I hope everyone is having as good a holiday as I am. |
