Application for Recruitment - PRINV
Greetings, I am prinv - UIT, 9/10/9/12/14 I dislike pirates immensely. Not only do I dislike their activities, I vehemently dislike their conduct on /100. often times they provide fallacious advice to noobs,often resulting in their dissatisfaction and/or cancelation of their VO account. Also, I get the feeling that most of them live in a basement ..... at the bottom of their parents' house. Anyways, I am a former member of [ORE] (hence my mining licence 14 after 7 months of playing). Conflict Diamond was my commander and she and I still talk from time to time, and on good terms. I work from home, and while I dont really leave my desk often, i do have muiltple computers that I use. On that note, while I might appear to be AFK, I am usually not. I would like to join [VPR] and (as you said) make the pirates' lives as hard as they make ours. |

Thanks for your application, prinv! The Council will review your application. In the mean time, try to meet up with as many Vipers as you can in-game. I do have a few questions. What are your faction/nation standings? How are you currently with PvP? How did you hear about us? We have a good relationship with [ORE], so we're glad you left on good terms. I agree with your feelings about a lot of pirates. Fortunately, there are at least a few cool ones who are fun to play the game with, so not all of them are complete asses. Anyway, I look forward to flying with you soon. |

First, to answer the question: ALL standings are either Respect or Admire. This includes corps and not just Nations. Every faction is *some* shade of Green. Ranging between 300 and 960+/-. Now, some BAD news. Computer is HOSED, hence why I have been offline, which is rare. Ill be back asap once I can figure out whats going on. prinv |

Congrats on your Master Prospector badge. It takes a lot of work to get that. prinv, Tuerd and I battled with FAMY in Edras today. Along with ITAN members we ran the 5 of them out of the area. It shows well of Viper apps to take on veteran players in pvp without regard to losing one's ship or credits. All the while not engaging in the insolent diatribe on chat. We will practice escorting ships when we meet next (that is if you haven't already). |

Had an interesting evening after the events Vivificus described. I ran into Maxx Metal and killed him - but only because he shot first. I didnt realize it, but i was still in UIT space =( ... lost standing but was still in positive numbers. i fixed it and got it up to light green. ill strengthen it later. then i ran into aton clavan and odtella something or other (both FAMY). I let odtella pass three times in his moth through Edras I-2 without doing anything (I even waved at him). Finally I decided to try and pirate him (get some money and make a guild donation). I figured, hey - hes probably reasonable. He is NOT reasonable, and he did not approve of this. He was quite rude actually, and I was fairly amicable (asked for 200000 with a please, and then he went off like a bitch with "F Us and get lost" etc etc). I'm not sure, maybe he was out of Pamprin and was in a bad mood or something. Finally he comes back in an ATLAS and I pwn him (he shot first). Then he sends aton clavan after me and I dropped him like a struck match (he also shot first). I then yawned and parked my ass at a station (jallik) and went outside with my dog. The two of them skulked around the station for awhile before wandering off. It was great fighting with you today (everyone). I will be on again tomorrow, but perhaps a few minutes late. I have to go buy new shoes. I ruined mine today KICKING FAMYs ASS ... .. (except FBP's; he killed me expertly, I'll admit it) |

Thanks for the report, prinv. It sounds like you're doing great with combat. Pirates in moths are certainly fair game to destroy. However, we can't ask them for money in exchange for safe passage. We just blow them up without negotiation. You can collect their cargo to prevent them from getting it back if you want. We usually donate any cargo we pick up from them to traders, or if that's not feasible, we donate the proceeds to the guild bank. |
