My application
Hello, I'd like to join you because Serco nation, which I've served for long, suddenly turned its back on me and I still want to do some good deeds 'round the galaxy... I started playing VO in late 2005/early 2006 (I don't remember exactly), and I've been subscribing with some breaks (vacation, exams and the like) for 2,5 years. My licenses are 11/12/11/10/5, I am in green standing with: Serco (ofc), Tung, Orion, TPG, Corvus. I'm Itani KOS, but it's a subject to change now... :) You have a strict CoC, but I understand the need of such among pierat hunters... That'd be all. See you ingame to kill some pierats ;> |

After the little stunt at the nation war, I wouldn't say it was 'too much'... I think that what Vehement and sheffield are trying to say is that if you can stay out of the (negative) public spotlight for a while, they'll be more inclined to invite you -- not that you've been permanently refused. |

Well before we will even consider your app, Mike-L, you need be sure of what you want to do. If [ONE] is where you'd rather be, then you have no business here. This is not a "second choice" kind of guild. If accepted as recruit, we would expect loyalty and dedication. The determining factor as to whether or not you join this guild should not and cannot be whether or not another guild will or will not accept you. Also, I didn't realize you were involved in the recent NW incident. We'll need to discuss that (probably privately) if you want to move ahead here. |

Well... thanks for calming me down. For a moment I thought about exploiting that bad publicity and joining CLM... seriously. I hate being guildless and idle, if there is anything to do I'd be glad to participate. You're absolutely right, Strat. You seem to be a wise person who knows what is right for your friends and comrades. For the time being, I will fly with you and help you chase pierats as much as I can... |

Um, Retractile, our cookies are better, and so is our milk, I'm able to bring them directly to the guild from Ma's and Pa's oven down on <Confidential> at the family ranch... But seriously, Mike, make sure this is what you want to do, for the time being I'll be sure to show you the ropes of the job. Someone needs to tell me where to find the links to all the lies_.mov's. Number three made me laugh, so I imagine the others will too. BTW, Vehement, you may want to evacuate your wife from Dau until the rats stop attacking random worm holes and stations. Today they hit the Senate hard, it's going to take a while for the UIT to recruit the countless strike force pilots lost. Retractile, you don't have to eat a cookie to drink milk. Also, Retractile, you started the cookie thing, which has nearly ruined an application thread, I'm just being honest. Yes, it was good for a laugh, and Vehement and Miharu are equally responsible, if not more so, but I'd really like to see people take applications more seriously, please in the future take little play arguments back to Viper Talk. I really don't want to ruin anyones fun, but I also want there to be respect for those considering joining the Vipers. That's why we have a Viper Talk board, for non-Viper non-Applicants to talk to us, and I personally don't have a problem with little funny arguments like this to be posted there. Just please, in the future, don't start this in application threads. Thank you for your understanding So, as you can see, Retractile, you weren't being good, but neither were Vehement or Miharu.
