Application - cavepuffer
Hello, I am cavepuffer, and I would like to join the Viper Guild. Please find below the answers to the questionnaire in the "Joining the Vipers" thread. - Why do you want to become a Viper? In any economy (virtual or physical, real or in-game) there are 2 kinds of people - those who produce more than they consume and those who consume more than they produce. The former are the life blood of the economy and are responsible for all progress. The latter are parasites who exist at the expense of the system and cannot survive without it. Since pirates function by extorting money from hard working players, they are parasites and and must be cleansed from the galaxy. I see the Viper Guild as the most effective way of combating piracy and achieving this goal. - What is your nation? UIT - What are your license levels? 7/9/8/7/2 - What are your faction standings? Admired: UIT, TCG, Corvus Respected: Itani, BioCom, Valent, Orion, Axia Neutral: Serco, Tunguska, Aeolus, Ineubis, Xang Xi - How long have you been playing VO? Currently on my 3rd week. - What is your level of experience and proficiency in regards to PvP combat? I've been trying PvP since the I've started playing, but unfortunately I can't say that I'm too good yet. I'd probably rate myself as average/slightly below average. - How did you hear about us? Saw you guys fighting pirates in-game. - How often do you play, what times do you normally play, and what is your time zone? I play at least a few hours every day. Mostly I play on nights and weekends, but due to my current schedule I've also been playing heavily during the day. Thank you for your consideration, and I hope to hear back soon. -cavepuffer |

Hi Cavepuffer, yes i recall last night, i caught blood thirsty having a go at you at Latos H2. If i remember correctly you escaped after i engaged and he then fled after I knocked him down to 50%. The rats were making a general nuisance of themselves, trying to pick off new players on the way to the Midweek Nation war at Latos D2. Thanks for the application, cavepuffer! Nice combat/weapon license levels. The Council will review your application. In the mean time, please try to /buddy up with as many Vipers as you can. Be sure to monitor channel 4357 in-game to see when we're on. If you'd like to get better at PvP combat, try hanging around Sedina B8. A lot of players go there for consensual PvP. You can also try your hand at attacking some rats. We can do some combat training as well. I look forward to flying with you. |

Redscar, yes I did escape from him, but it was still a fun skirmish. Maybe I can assist you with fighting pirates sometime. Strat, thank you for the tips, I'll go ahead and try looking for some fights around Sedina B8 while I'm waiting on my application status. Aslo, just a minor update: got my licenses to 7/9/8/8/2 last night and I'm now admired by Axia |
