Application for Vipers Guild.
Hello all. My name is Spyderlotus and I wish to join this guild. I think we share the same goals/ideas for this game. I've already had some conversations earlier with Strat and RedScar and we got a long real well. Nation: Itani License Levels: 1/1/0/1/1 Faction Standings: Itani - Admire, Serco - Hate, Biocome - Dislike, Corvus - Dislike, The rest I'm Neutral with. I've been playing vo for about 3 days. Just really got into it today though when I started playing on my pc. PVP Skills: I have no clue. I did kill some collector bots easily on my phone though. I heard about this guild through Strat and Redscar. I play all day right now. Not really any specific times even though in the future it could change to nights only. I'm currently in central time zone. Anyways I'm looking forward to being in this guild if accepted! It's all about integrity! Lets kick some pirate butt, and help each other out. |

Hey Spyderlotus, thanks for the application! While your app is under review, work on getting those license levels up to 4/4/4/4/-. Also, you will want to work on getting your Serco standing up to neutral as we operate in all three national territories. Hope to see you online soon, and I look forward to flying with you! If you can at all make it on tonight at 7:30 pm, EST, that would be a good time to meet up with myself and others. |

Great to see your application, Spyderlotus. As Phaser mentioned, definitely work on license leveling for the time being. Try to /buddy up with as many of us as you can in-game. The [VPR] Council will review your application, keep tabs on your progress, and vote on your admittance as you gain experience. Post updates on your progress here in this thread. I'm on most nights, but I'm based in Europe so I'll be around earlier than most of the vipers, happy to hook up with you if your playing during the afternoon and help you burn through those licenses mate. Spyderlotus, after our last conversation in-game, I want to make sure your expectations of this guild are realistic. You expressed concerns about our activity level. There are Vipers and Viper recruits in-game every day, sometimes even more than 5 on at once. However, there aren't Vipers online 24 hours a day. The only guilds that currently even come close to that level of coverage are [TGFT], [FAMY], and [Itan]. Even those guilds do not have solid 24/7 coverage. Vendetta Online is a relatively small MMOG. Up until recently, there was only an average of around 30 players in-game at a time, ranging from 5 during slow hours to 70 during the most active (plus a few very rare spikes, maybe once or twice a year). That average may have increased a bit since the android release. I'd guess that the average is closer to 50 now, but it's impossible to know for certain since the Active Player List was removed. Everyone who plays this game and who joins this guild has to understand that they will occasionally be playing alone. [VPR] is not the most active guild in VO, never has been, and probably never will be. However, this is the absolute oldest guild in the game (nearly 9 years) and one of the most established. We have higher standards than most guilds and are concerned more with quality than with quantity. The few, the proud, etc... Anyway, if you want to continue pursuing membership with this guild, you'll have to come to terms with our level of activity. We are growing and hope to have more members and be more active soon. I've had some RL personal issues that have reduced the amount of time I've been able to play these past few days, but that should be resolved by the end of this week. Keep in mind that Vipers also frequently fly along side members of other friendly guilds, so interaction is not limited to guild-mates. If you decide that you want a more active guild, or that [VPR] just isn't for you, that's also fine. You are free to withdraw your application without any hard feelings. |
