All, I would like to formally apply to become a member of the Vipers. I have been playing VO for about 5 or 6 months now and the part that seems most fun to me in the game is the PvP aspect. Doing that, I think the role I would most like to play is that of hero, saving the weak from the people who would abuse them, etc just seems like a natural fit for me (although I am actually grateful to the people who play pirates but aren't weeneies about it, I think the game needs this aspect too.) Having said that, I have no idea how to define what being a "good pirate" is and seem to spend most of my time fighting "bad pirates" as well as "good pirates" already. I have already teamed with several VPR members online in this effort and you seem like a good group, so I would like to try being a member and see if it is a good fit for me and you. I htink my licenses are 9/7/7/10/8 and my factions are admire for UIT, TGP and Taskaga(sp), neutral with Itan and one or 2 others and respect with all the rest (including serco.) As far as PvP, well tons of experience, but sadly lacking in skill (I actually have the best success with techniques and wpn's generally considered "bad manners" like mixing seekers and rockets and using gatling turrets, so forcing myself to use other wpns has been a pretty big slice of humble pie for a long time now.) I first heard about you guys, well I don't know, I think from the in game announcements and back and forth between pirates and yourselves. I live in Toledo, Ohio, USA and usually get a chance to play later at night and some times on the weekends or occaisionally right after work (we are at GMT-5 usually aka Eastern time in the USA.) |

RL issues have been preventing me from getting in-game more, but once that cures itself I look forward to flying with you more and helping you in anyway I can in improving your PvP skills. As you can see, Eosana is VERY happy you applied! Took full advantage of my week of vacation to play a little more the past couple of days. I got some good tips and had a lot of fun with a group training a few days ago. Then I got a chance to practice my new stuff last night against a bunch of pirates (I even managed to get Vyske to wander over to b8 and do an assist on my death once.) I do see distinct improvement in my "stay alive" time and am working on improving the "them dead" vs "me dead "ratio! |

Haha! Just stick with it Growlor. Keep practicing and I promise you will be able to put up a very decent fight in no time. Hey maybe you will get as good as Niut has in a taur! |

You've been granted recruit status, Growlor. Continue to fly with as many Vipers as you can and check into this forum as often as you can. Act as a Viper at all times and feel free to tell people you are an official Viper recruit. Welcome. |
