- Why do you want to become a Viper? I feel I could do some good and would like a chance to prove what i have... (or don't have :whistle: ) - What is your nation? The UIT - What are your license levels? 3/3/3/4/3 - What are your faction standings? UIT=Admire INT=Respect SER=Nutral - How long have you been playing VO? 4 Days (as of posting) with Balthazor 3 months on prior Character - What is your level of experience and proficiency in regards to PvP combat? Never tried PVP - How did you hear about us? Chat 100 as well as Private messages - How often do you play, what times do you normally play, and what is your time zone? I play daily times vary becuse of work but i'm almost always on between midnight and three in the morning MST (-7) |

Nice app Balthazor. Don't worry about your PvP skills, we'll train you. Until then, get your licenses up a bit and take a look at the "Advice for a Newb" thread in "Viper Talk" to get a jumpstart on getting access to good ships and weapons. The Council will review your application. In the meantime, fly with as many Vipers as you can so we can get to know you better. I look forward to flying with you. |

Hey just an update i raised my levels to 4/4/3/4/3 and raied all my Factions/Corporation standings to nutral or higher =) |

Heh. You'll get there. We just had a few fights. Next time, I'll give you some training and you'll be deadly in no time. I'm glad I finally got to fly with you though. |

Balthazor, when you fight Strat, it's okay to lose a lot. I still can't beat him 90+% of the time, and I'm a pretty good fighter. The training he gives is superb though, so just keep your ears up and don't let the fact that you're getting your arse whooped hurt too much (moreover, a good whooping is the best kind of lesson anyways). |

I suggest largely doing Hive Skirmishes for your combat. Once that is up, dont take the mission and just goto the hive skirmish sectors and kill assault bots. They are something like +250 exp for light/heavy weapons. And usually once you kill a couple they get pissed off and come to you so you don't even have to do any work other than barrell roll and hit the trigger... got my licenses to 8+ in one day doing that :) -Niut |

Hey Niut thanks for the advice about the hive skirmish it helped out alot. I was only able to play for a short time today but i made some pretty good strides. Licenses: 6/6/5/7/4* Factions: UIT=Admire Itani=Admire Serco=Admire *Edit: updated levels* |

Excellent work, Balthazor. You have been granted the rank of recruit. Continue to fly with as many Vipers as you can and act as a Viper at all times. Feel free to tell people you are an official Viper recruit. Your license levels and faction standings are high enough now that I suggest you really start to focus primarily on PvP combat, patrols, and escorts. Welcome. |
