Application - Buanzo
Hello! I've been chatting with some VIper members, and I decided to submit my application. My VO name is buanzo, Itani: - Why do you want to become a Viper? I'm an ACE member, but the guild has been very low in activity. I considered joining TGFT, ITAN, and staying solo as well, but a carrer in pirate hunting and helping friends sounds irresistible. - What is your nation? Itan - What are your license levels? 7/8/7/4/1 - What are your faction standings? Admired by Itani, hated by Serco, Dislike by Corvus [I do not remember how that happened, really], Respected by TPG, positive (but Neutral) in Xia. The rest, neutral. - How long have you been playing VO? 2 months, since March 7. - What is your level of experience and proficiency in regards to PvP combat? In a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being amazing, I consider myself a 2. I haven't had enough practice, but the last couple times I was able to keep going for several minutes. - How did you hear about us? I found the vipers wiki while googling for VO info. - How often do you play, what times do you normally play, and what is your time zone? I play every day, 2 to 4 hours a day, some days probably more. GMT-3. I'm a PCC member. I would like to add that I'm a good Lua programmer, I've been using LUA for a couple years now, specially for Nmap NSE programming. I have also programmed a Firefox extension for the OGame web-based MMRPG. Also, I'm proficient with internet and network security. I like my hacking (white hat, not cracker, but good'ol hacker). :) I'm open to questions. I like taking part in group missions and enjoy following orders as much as coordinating a team. Glad to see you apply Buanzo. I believe we may have talked a bit in game awhile back, but I'm not sure. Overall, my experience has been good with ACE: I believe I've trained a few of your members in PvP. On that note, don't worry too much about your PvP skills. VPR gives out free PvP training to anyone who asks, so you better believe we train our own. As VPR is a neutral guild, it would be best to work on improving your serco standing. It is also important to note that we cannot consider your application until you resign from ACE. Once you resign, the Council will review your application. In the mean time, continue to fly with as many Vipers as you can so we can get to know you better. I look forward to flying with you. |

Atice, In deed. You were the first Viper I came across with :) Good memory, there. I remember you telling me 'I'm VPR, know what it means?' :) Yes, I already read the newbiee information regarding how to improve standing with Serco. It sounds CRAZY fun to go into Serco territory and kill the hive there. BTW, I forgot to mention my PCC test server character is satanas (Serco). In the real server I only use Buanzo, and satanas in test server. I'll resign from ACE right away, but I'll let them know I do it so I can follow a career with the Vipers. I LOVE being ACE, but it seems it's past it's time :( Sincerely, |

Hey, buanzo. Thank you for your application. We all get online at various times. It's kind of hit and miss. I've been busy lately and haven't had much in-game time, but that should be changing soon. I'll keep an eye out for you and we can hopefully fly together soon. |

Good guild choice Buanzo. Remember two small things: 1. Chase your pirates (especially me!) 2. If you need moneys due to being boomed repeatedly (maybe by me), ask for some. Most will give moneys to the snakes. Even us rats. And Atice.... That is TEH lies! I has always been denied anti-flare training by you snakes. Unless you are so sneaky that you train me in b8. Good flying with you today! And good luck with that standing! Feel free to ask any ONE members to help you out by sitting on you with a repair gun. Tell them you're a VPR applicant, that will help. |

Hey Atice :) I resigned from ACE in-game today, I notified ACE yesterday. My buddy Patrizio [ACE] is KOS with Serco, so we joined efforts to raise standing and repair each other. I'll take the ONE advice into account, though, and keep an open channel at 911. |

Nice! Bulk procurement missions are the fastest way to raise standing now. They aren't much fun, but you should be able to get up to Admired within a few hours. |

Well, this might be a good time to get your trade and mining licenses up so you can get the Behemoth. Bulks are a real pain without one. You may be able to get one from Corvus though. |

Glad to see you're still around, Buanzo. I haven't seen you and got a bit worried. We definitely understand about the trouble of finding time away from real-life for VO. Just keep active on the forums on the forum if you can and get in-game when you have the time. I hope to fly with you soon. |

Vipers, I hereby decline my application to become a Viper Recruit. I got a proposal from the Coalition of Itan, and I wanted to come clean with you guys before. I have to admit it's purely a decision based on human facts: I'm having a great time inside VO with Sagiv Kor [Itan], so... well, it kinda makes sense :) So long, and thanks for all the fish! :) |
