Application at last
This is my application for becoming a proud member of the VPR. My personal motivation is to play no longer on my own, to improve my skills, to make the game more fun for others (both peaceful players and pirates alike ;) ) and to have something meaningful to do apart from botting and B8 PvP. Tluvons motivation is that he really dislikes pirates and truly believes that UIT and gray space shall be safe places to travel and trade. From the beginning he has faced pirates instead of paying and stood brave throughout repeated destruction of his ship (and there were lots of). Tluvon is of UIT nation and currently at 5/5/5/5/0. Standings are UIT, TPG admire; Itani, BioCom, Valent, Orion, Xang Xi respect; Serco, Axia, Tunguska, Aeolus, Ineubis neutral; Corvus dislike. I have been playing for about three and a half months now. I botted my way to 5/5/5 and started PvPing only a couple of days ago. I am far from where I want to be, but was surprised to learn that I do not dodge too bad in a Hornet according to Niut. :) I heared about the VPR when I browsed the Vendetta wiki and thought "wow, this sounds kinda elite." :) I monitored 4357 and found you could probably be needing some more people. I recently made the acquaintance of some VPR members which encouraged me to apply. My play times vary. I am in Germany in CET and usually play in the evening between 21:00-24:00 CET. I currently am a PhD student with abroken relationship, so there is some time off. :) Again, in busy times I might not be able to play for 1-2 weeks. I have an alt called Araniak of Itani nation. This was my first character. He is at 2/2/1/1/1 and is going to remain a peaceful trader and botter. Currently I mainly use him to escape griefers. ;) Some finaly words about me and games in general. Before Vendetta I used to be an RPG and strategy games player. Coming from the Amiga, I deliberately missed out on the whole FPS thing (Wolfenstein, Quake, Doom). I had a look at EVE and found the combat system pretty boring. The final kick for Vendetta was that it runs natively on Linux. :) My friends still do not believe that I play a FPS-style space shooter. :D Kindly consider my application. |

Hello, Tluvon. I'm glad to see you applied. The Council will review your application and vote as to your status. In the meantime, continue to fly with as many Vipers as you can and continue to work on PvP combat. This is a pretty exciting time for VO with a lot of changes currently under way. There should also be an influx of new players over the next few weeks and months as the devs do some advertising and promotional offers, so we can certainly use all the help we can get. I look forward to flying with you again. |

I'll vouch for what I can of this guy. When I'm on he reports locations of rats to me whenever he sees them. I haven't flown much with him but I hope that will change soon. You up for some PVP training at some point? |

1:18 AM and I should be sleeping. :) Just increased my licenses to 6/6/5/5/0. Worked on my aiming with A/A off against Artemis collectors, with moderate success. I need to improve my "3D thinking", but as everyone says, this comes with practice... Also gained some rocket experience and tried some lighter ships. |

Heh. I'm in an extremely weakened state right now. I was essentially absent from the game for over a month until a couple days ago. You'll both have to go easy on me for a while. |

You have been granted the rank of recruit, Tluvon. Continue to fly with as many Vipers as you can and work on PvP. Keep up the great work. Feel free to tell people you are a VPR recruit. |
