Michael Pobega's VPR Application
- Why do you want become a Viper? I want to become a Viper because I don't agree with the ideals of the pirates, and want to promote free trade between all systems and sectors. - What is your nation? I am of Serco decent. - What are your license levels? 5/4/4/2/1 I need to work on mining and trading, but combat is more important to me right now. I am more interesting in dog fighting and pirate hunting than trading ores. - What are your faction standings? Itani hates me, Serco loves me, and everyone else is in the middle. I am not sure how to go about raising faction standings though. - How long have you been playing VO? A little over two weeks. - What is your level of experience and proficiency in regards to PvP combat? None, but willing to learn! - How did you hear about us? Channel 4357, and Strat helped escort me out of greyspace. From that point on I wanted to join the Vipers. - How often do you play, what times do you normally play, and what is your time zone? I play at random times for about an hour or so a day. My play times definitely vary, sometimes I log on and do one skirmish mission, sometimes I stay on for eight or so hours. But I'm always monitoring IRC so if someone needed an escort I'd easily be able to make myself available. |

Re: Michael Pobega's VPR Application
Hey Michael! For faction standings, do Trade Procurement missions. The higher the dollar value of the mission, the more faction standing you gain. However, with trade and mining as low as you currently have, you'll have to make multiple trips at least until you've got enough licence to get a behemoth from corvus. For your Itani, the only thing you can do is bot your way up to -600 in standing. Shouldn't take long, all bots give the same faction improvement, so just go to jallik and kill a bunch of collectors. Then do your procs. The procs will also massively improve your trade standing. I would suggest for your mining, set yourself up on a huge worthless roid and afk mine it while your away from your pc. You may need the autojet plugin setup to do this. Anyways, don't be a stranger. I'm looking forward to introducing you to the wonderful world of scrap. :P Remember CLM is here to help, Uncle (8 POS and growing) _________________ Hoist the Jolly Roger Maties! Heh. Thanks, Retractile. The dirty rat is actually correct on all points, Michael. You don't need to worry too much about your trade and mining licenses other than being able to buy a moth from Corvus so you can easily work on faction standing. The Council will review your application. In the mean time, work on your levels and your Itani standing (by botting in Itani space). Also, try to fly with as many Vipers as you can. I look forward to flying with you. |

Alright, I'll work on all my faction standings next chance I get, and also try to get myself the required levels for a moth. |

Re: Michael Pobega's VPR Application
I'm withdrawing my application for now, I decided to try different guilds before making a final decision. So I may be bringing back this application eventually, but for now, it's null |

Sorry to say, but you can not "try" us. Good luck with your new guild. _________________ M. Duncan Commander 10/13/13/13/12 m.duncan@viperguild.com |

Re: Michael Pobega's VPR Application
I don't mean that, I mean that if I find other guilds to be unsatisfactory I'll be reviving this thread. Is that acceptable? |

Re: Michael Pobega's VPR Application
Commander, I think Michael has decided that at this time he wants to join SCAR to explore his options before making a commitment to us that we would expect to be long-term. However, he feels that VPR may be a better fit for him at some time in the future after he gains more experience in-game. If he resigns from SCAR in the future, he might re-apply here. |

Re: Michael Pobega's VPR Application
Yes, than you for clarifying Strat. That is exactly what I meant. I don't mean offense to the Vipers, and hopefully we can still fly in game sometime. |
