Application ...
Well this guild seems like the place for me and i would like to join you. I am fairly new, though i have done the basic stuff and becoming more & more familiar with certain rogues and the vo universe. Having decided that mining & trading are not my cup of tea and the desire to payback certain pirates and other undesirables (those picking on my empty ship for no reason) i reckon i may fit in here rather well. Current levels are rather low 2/3/2/4/4 but growing in time. Takes a while as you all know. Current buddies are all peaceful types, and would like to protect them rather than join their activities... Just to add, i`m UIT. Standings are either neutral or great with the exception of corvus which is disliked slightly. Could use some combat practice...that will come in time :P |

The officers will probably suggest you level up a little bit (shoot for level 4 across the board), and look for Vipers ingame to show you the ropes and get to know you. While I'm not an active Viper at the moment, I'd be happy to have you fly with me for a while if one of them isn't around. |

Thanks, i`m not too far from the next level on the lower ones, and will keep a look out if your around. I`m not worried about getting shot to bits , that will only make me more determined to improve ;) Also, since i did abit of trading with a mentor i have a few credits to last a fair while so it`s not like i`m completly skint *moneyless! Experience and levels come best when thrown in the deep end ( i have my own business to run so i know that much). |

Hello, cmstiger. Thank you for your application. Have you flown with any Vipers yet? Also, how did you hear about us? I'll keep an eye out for you in-game so we can fly together. In the mean time, try to level up to 4/4/4/-/- so you can gain access to suitable ships and equipment. We can definitely do some combat training when we meet up, but it'll be better if you can use some competitive equipment. As we get to know you a bit over the next week, the Council will review your application for approval. I look forward to flying with you. |

ok then. I can always get some better kit from a corvus station for the time being. I not in a rush, this is a long term thing so time can take it`s course as it will anyway. #1 not that i`m aware #2 i do read the forums and associated pages levels can only improve, bot bashing gets abit boring after a while........ * Just a thought..... what do you generally aim for setup wise? hog 3 ok with some punchy gun? or ....... nice to know, i think this seems a possibility though i like my rev with the double small ports! advice welcome .. For combat training, I like a vulture mk3 (or higher). A warthog mk2 (or higher) is also good, but the vult is better for dogfighting. For weapons, a Neutron Blaster mk2 (or higher) is good or positron blasters. There are a lot of possibilites. We can go into more detail once we meet up in-game. Like I said, try to work up to 4/4/4/-/- if you can. Missions like advanced combat training and hive skirmish will help you to level quickly, as well as PvP of course. |

I did have a little tour with Vehement today, though i admit i was abit hammered :whistle: Anyway all good fun and stocked up with a better set of kit... Will be better in time ( not a difficult task)! anyway thanks for the help so far. cmstiger. |

Thats great, look forward to meeting you all. Bit better condition as of now..too difficult to fly when abit drunken :P i can continue to scout about abit and maybe do a few bots , but please do contact when you are on.... Cheers. |

I would be happy to give you some personalized training. PM me when you see me online. I'm hard to miss. I find the best ship for new players to use when combat training are the Behemoth. If you can't get a moth yet, then an atlas or revenant. Be sure to load up on Sedina Chocolates too. Looking forward to meeting you soon, Retractile PS: MDuncan or Strat, I'm still having trouble getting onto the main message boards. Tiger, don't listen to Retractile, he's one of our targets, and he gets a kick out of spamming our boards like this. I suggest you start improving your axia/biocom/tpg standing and get your licenses to at least 4/4/4/4, though I think you'd really want to be closer to 7/8/6/8 before really going on patrol, since that's when you have access to all standard equipment, with the exception of nation specific ships. Also, the best pvp ship is the Orion Centurion Rev C, but the BioCom vult is more balanced for chasing and is a light fighter _________________ Those who use their power to defend the weak are blessed, those who make the weak become strong are divine |

Retractile, it's not that we don't like you, it's just that your combat record, is, well, questionable, and you're telling our recruit to fly a moth as a combat ship. Maybe if you were to leave CLM, walk a very fine line for a month or two, and prove that you've left your days of piracy behind, we'd look at your application more seriously. But, for the time being, you still have a pirate's signature on your posts, and last I saw you were wearing a pirate's hat. Want a cookie?
