to whom it may concern
the vipers have been sorely missed. I do not wish to antagonize anyone yet I must ask a question or three. First off, if no more applicants are accepted, and no Viper ever seems to be online. what exactly is the point? The pirate's guilds still exist, why not there Hunter's? pirates don't even fear the vipers anymore. some would even say that the vipers were just a made up wiki page . And of course that pirates are never contested. although evidence of your existance is clear to me. As clear to me as the knowledge that my character is in truth only a mirror reflection of my own self. And I know others like me exist, or quite simply i would not. I recall once a rodent saying he was unhappy that he had never made it into the vipers sad little history page..sad only because it's unfinished I say.A few have mentioned they have seen one or two every couple of months but that they have disappeared. perhaps these people lie or know no better, and the vipers are only hidden. Maybe injured, outnumbered, collectively waiting on something, or even taking a well deserved break. the universe however grows ever more cold and dark around us. Maybe a return is already in order and i am a fool to question...though unfortunately I have never seen a viper. I believe in the vippers none the less. An establishment to protect the week "for the cause of honor" for one and all.. and again no offense (and i truely mean that) but how can you be a viper if you will no longer eat rats? I am still young for a snake, but I will shed a few skins and I will be a true viper before-before i finish typing this ridiculously long , badly written yet relative post. :D I can only hope I'm not the only one. Finally I say if no one is there to protect the new citizens of the vendetta-verse I ask that you reopen the guild to new players. For there will always be new players and if any of you are still active then you know you are not the first. this guild needs not to be another to simply dwindle and disappear. who can say how long each player will stay. but right here right now, i for one stand ready. - Yetto-to Koshick |

We definitely appreciate the sentiment of this post. Various other (mostly real-life) commitments mean most of the more senior people in the guild haven't had a lot of time for Vendetta lately. We'd like to rekindle activity, but only with people we know will preserve the spirit and methods of the guild and pass those on to new members. I know, personally that I won't have any time available in October. November could potentially work though. |

Well I have been in-game off and on every week. I must have missed you in the verse. I don't chat very much as the other Viper members will agree. I don't peruse the forum posts as I should either. I agree with phaserlight that your post is well written. Maybe I will see you soon. |

I get great enjoyment out of fighting honorably to keep the peace. But what else I get enjoyment out of is reading about the CoGeNT Dark Matter Experiment. IT is a direct search for signals from interactions of dark matter particles in a low-background germanium detector located at Soudan Underground Laboratory in Soudan, MN. You guys should really check it out... |
